What is GOLD mBanking?
GOLD mBanking is a new service from Morgan Federal Bank that allows you to complete Online Banking transactions through a Web-enabled mobile device.
What kind of mobile devices can use the GOLD mBanking service?
Most Web-enabled phones or other devices with a browser compatible with WAP 2.0 and XHTML-MP can use GOLD mBanking. The Web data option must be activated on the mobile device to use the service.
How do I access GOLD mBanking on my mobile device?
After we have given you access, just enter "/m" at the end of the Morgan Federal Bank's web address (www.morganfed.com/m). That will launch the mobile version of our site. Enter your Online Banking username and password to log in. After logging in, a list of accounts to which you have access will appear.
Can I change my GOLD mBanking access settings?
Yes. For security reasons, however, this must be done on our Online Banking site. Changing the username or password for Online Banking settings will also change those settings for GOLD mBanking.
What accounts can I access with GOLD mBanking?
You can access any of your personal or business accounts through a mobile device.
Can account history information be accessed through GOLD mBanking?
You can view a variety of information about past transactions, including the transaction date, description, and amount. You can search history by account type or date range.
What types of transactions can I perform through my mobile device?
In addition to viewing account information, you can pay existing bills, make loan payments, and transfer funds between accounts.
What kind of security is included with GOLD mBanking?
GOLD mBanking includes the following security features:
  • 128-bit encryption.
  • Password protection.
  • Automatic session expiration. The application will time out if the user has not used the application for several minutes.
  • Privacy protection. No private data is stored on the mobile device.
  • Reduced risk feature set. You cannot change your Login Name or Password, or set up a new bill payee, from the mBanking site. These tasks must be done from our Online Banking site.
  • Masked account numbers. Account numbers are masked with Xs whenever practical within the application.
  • Site-to-user verification. You must confirm an image and phrase upon logging in so that you can be certain you are dealing with Morgan Federal Bank.
  • Multi-factor authentication. GOLD mBanking provides a multi-factor authentication feature that appears whenever the user attempts something unusual, such as using a different mobile device or accessing the site from a new IP address. This feature asks the user personal questions, and in order to continue, the answers must match the ones you entered when you originally signed up for Online Banking.
What happens when someone uses an invalid username or password to access the site?
An error message appears indicating that invalid logon credentials were used, and the system does not allow logon.
What does GOLD mBanking cost to use?
There is no cost. This is a free service provided by Morgan Federal Bank.
